Tutorials

Each tutorial takes one job from start to finish, with numbered steps and dashboard screenshots. Finish Getting Started first so you have a paired booth to work on. If a word is unfamiliar, see How Pixture Works or the Glossary.

Set Up

  • Set Up a Booth. Create a booth, assign its templates, filters and screen design, and set what it outputs.
  • Design a Print Template. Turn a PNG with transparent photo slots into a print template and put it on your booths.
  • Customise Booth Screens. Use the UI Editor to change what guests see on every screen, from the start button to sharing.

Earn

  • Create a Payment Gateway. Open a merchant account with DOKU or Stripe, collect the keys, connect the gateway, test it, and add Stripe's webhook and card readers.
  • Accept Payments. Connect a payment gateway, set your session prices and packages, and switch payment on at the booth.
  • Payment Setups by Use Case. The setup that fits an event rental, a self-service mall booth, a multi-booth studio or a pop-up box.
  • Sell Sessions Online. Share a link where customers buy a package on their phone and get a code the booth accepts, even offline.
  • Sell AI Portraits. Offer AI portraits on the guest share page, digital or with a print picked up at the booth. Available to beta accounts.
  • Let Guests Design Their Own Frame. Switch on Frame Lab, follow a guest from the phone studio to payment and voucher, and redeem the code at the booth.

Run

  • Run an Event. Create a dated event with its own booths, pricing, template pack and public album, and let it end by itself.
  • Studio Mode. Give guests a timed session where they take free shots and place their favourites into the template.

Manage

  • Add or Move a Computer. Add devices to your subscription, use an Event Pass, and move Pix Pro from one computer to another.
  • Take Card, Coin and Cash Payments. A Stripe Terminal reader, a coin or note acceptor or Nayax reader on a CASH-Interface2 board, your own bridge on the local Hardware API, or cash at the counter as voucher codes.
