Branding Your Booth

Guests meet your brand on the booth screen, on the print, on the GIF and on the share page they open from the QR code. All of it is designed in the Pixture dashboard, nothing on the booth itself. At the end of this guide your logo, booth screens, templates, share page and overlays all carry the same look.

Before you start

  • Pix Pro on the account. On Pix Starter every tool below is open to browse and try, but saving needs Pix Pro.
  • Your logo as a square PNG, 200 x 200 px, under 2 MB.
  • Template artwork as a PNG with transparent areas where photos go, under 15 MB.
  1. Open Settings > General.
  2. Under Organization, tap Upload Logo and pick the PNG.

The logo appears on the share page and wherever the dashboard shows your organization.

Step 2: Design the booth screens

  1. Open Pix Design > UI Editor and open a UI project, or tap New Project (name, Orientation and Booth mode).
  2. Pick a page tab: Start Screen, Payment Screen, Templates, Capture, Review, Filter or Sharing.
  3. Set the Page Background to a Solid Color, Image, Gradient or, on the start screen, a Video.
  4. Add blocks such as Text, Image, Start Button and Template Cards, and set their fonts and colours.
  5. Tap Save Changes.
  6. Assign the project on each booth's UI Project tab and tap Save.

Keep one project for all booths that should look the same; make a copy with Duplicate when a venue needs its own look.

Step 3: Design the print templates

  1. Open Pix Design > Template Editor and tap New Project.
  2. Choose the Print Size and Media Type, upload the Template PNG, then Create Project.
  3. Check the Photo Slots the editor detected from the transparent areas. Use Add slot manually if one is missing, and Add QR code to print the share link on the sheet.
  4. Tap Save, name the template and pick the booths under Assign to booths.

Design the artwork in your usual design tool first; the editor places the photos, it does not draw the artwork. Keep photo slots large and text high-contrast, and test on the real printer.

Step 4: Brand the share page

The share page is what a guest opens from the QR code on the Sharing screen.

  1. Open Pix Design > Microsite.
  2. Work through the sections: Page, Header, Buttons, Promo banner and Menu links.
  3. Pick a font from the font picker or upload one under Custom font (optional), and set a Background image.
  4. Tap Save changes, then Save to booths to apply it.

Show promo popup again re-arms the promo banner for guests who already dismissed it.

Step 5: Add a GIF or video overlay

An overlay is a transparent PNG drawn over every GIF and video the booth makes.

  1. Open Pix Design > GIF/Video overlay and tap + Add overlay.
  2. Upload the Transparent PNG, give it a Name and pick the Orientation (Landscape 1280 x 720 or Portrait 720 x 1280).
  3. On the booth, open Settings > Output Settings, choose it under GIF overlay and tap Save.

Event branding

An event can carry its own look without touching your everyday booth setup. On the event's Setup tab:

  • Appearance: tap Change and pick a UI project made for the event's booth mode, or keep the Default Layout.
  • Template: tap Browse template packs to open the template pack browser. Each free pack from Pixture brings print layouts, a GIF overlay and a matching booth look; tap Use this pack to copy all of it into the event. Or tap Manage Templates to assign your own.
  • Image overlay for video modes.

When the event ends, the booths return to their own templates and design.

Booth language

Set the language guests see on the booth under Settings > Preferences > Booth language and tap Save. The dashboard language is set separately on the same page.
