Billing FAQ
How do I add a device?
- Open Devices in the Pixture dashboard.
- Tap Buy license and pick Event Pass or Pix Pro.
- For Pix Pro, set How many devices? and pick Pix Pro (1 Month) or Pix Pro (1 Year) with Select. For Event Passes, set how many.
- Pay at checkout. When you add devices to a card subscription you already have, the dashboard shows Confirm this charge first.
A spare subscription attaches itself to the next computer that checks in without Pix Pro. Event Passes wait in your account until you use one at the booth.
How do I move Pix Pro to another computer?
- On Devices, find the computer in the Devices table and tap Deactivate.
- Confirm with Deactivate (or keep it with Keep Pix Pro).
- Pair the new computer, or let a computer that is already paired check in. The next computer without Pix Pro takes the free place, usually within a few seconds when it is online.
The free trial moves the same way. An Event Pass does not: see the next question.
What does Deactivate do to an Event Pass?
It ends the Event Pass. The dashboard warns you first: it ends there and cannot be moved or used again. Only deactivate a computer on an Event Pass when you are done with it for the day.
What happens when Pix Pro ends on a computer?
You are warned first. An Event Pass shows a notice on the booth idle screen 60 and 15 minutes before it ends. A subscription that will not renew warns 7 days and 1 day ahead by email and with a banner in the dashboard.
When it ends, the booth shows a popup naming what ended (for example "Your Event Pass has ended", or the free trial, or Pix Pro on this computer), with a Manage devices button that shows a QR code to your Devices page. Guests see "Please call the operator."
What the computer does next depends on your account:
- If another computer still has Pix Pro, this one is Blocked: it stays paired but cannot start a session until you deactivate another computer, use an Event Pass on it or add a device.
- If it was the last Pix Pro in the account, the account drops back to Pix Starter and the computer runs Watermarked.
Nothing is deleted. Templates, screen designs, photos and transactions stay.
My payment failed. How long do I have?
You get an email at once and the Devices table shows "Pix Pro, payment failed". The computer keeps running Pix Pro for a 3-day grace period. Update the card under Settings > Pixture billing > Update card within those days; after that the computer is blocked until the payment goes through.
How do I cancel?
- Card subscription: open Settings > Pixture billing and tap Manage subscription. The computer keeps Pix Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- QRIS purchase in Indonesia: there is nothing to cancel. It is prepaid and simply ends when the period is over.
Where are my invoices?
Settings > Pixture billing > Invoice history, with View and Download for each payment.
How do I change the card?
Settings > Pixture billing > Update card. This applies to card subscriptions. QRIS purchases are paid at checkout and nothing is stored.
Do you take promo codes?
Yes. The Indonesian checkout has a Have a promo code? field. When a personal offer is live, the Devices entry in the sidebar shows a "% OFF" pill. Current promotions are listed on pixture.io.
Can I get a refund?
Contact support from the dashboard's Help chat, or on WhatsApp at +62 851-2135-5870, with the computer name and the date of the charge.
Which currency is my subscription in?
US dollars internationally, rupiah in Indonesia. The currency follows your location at checkout. Rupiah prices are set in rupiah, not converted, so they do not move with the exchange rate.
How does the free trial work?
Once per account: 3 days of Pix Pro on one computer, no card. Claim it from the "Try Pix Pro free for 3 days" popup or the bell menu in the dashboard, or from the booth's operator menu. While it runs your account is Pix Pro. If you deactivate the computer, the trial returns to your pool and the next computer that checks in takes it. It ends for good 3 days after you claimed it, and the account goes back to Pix Starter unless you have bought Pix Pro.
Can I pair a second computer on Pix Starter?
No. Pix Starter runs one computer, and a second computer is refused at the pairing code. Replacing the computer on a booth that already has one works. Add a device, use an Event Pass or start the free trial to run more than one computer.
The booth says "Device limit reached". What now?
Every device on your subscription is already active. On Devices, deactivate a computer you are not using, or tap Buy license. This computer picks up Pix Pro on its next check-in. Or open the booth's operator menu and tap Use an Event Pass on this computer.
Can I buy Event Passes ahead of an event?
Yes. Tap Buy Event Passes on the Event Passes card of the Devices page, or pick Event Pass under Buy license. Buy as many as you need. They wait in your account and the card shows how many are unused. On the day, tap Use Event Pass when the booth asks "Use an Event Pass for today?", or open the operator menu on each computer and tap Use an Event Pass on this computer. The 24 hours start from that moment.
Is there volume pricing?
Yes, for Pix Pro, when you add several devices in one purchase. Tap See volume pricing in the Pix Pro checkout to see the per-device price for Monthly and Yearly before you pay. Event Passes are a flat price.
Do AI credits expire?
Credits bought as a pack never expire. Credits from the monthly plan reset each month. Pix AI is available to beta accounts.
Do you take a share of my photo session sales?
No. Guest payments at the booth go through your own payment gateway account or your own hardware. Pixture takes no share of them; your gateway's own fees apply.
